Requirements: Bachelors of Pharmacy + PhD + 9 years experience after PhD    OR  Bachelors   + Masters of Pharmacy + 11 years experience after  Masters.

Salary: per month in Omani Riyals (R.O.)1190/- basic salary + 12.5% of basic as professional  allowance,  R.O.70/- water/electricity, R.O. 75/- transport, R.O. 30/- telephone allowance. Annual increment R.O.40/-  (1 R.O. = 2.6 US $ approx.)

Duties & Responsibilities :

●Experience in the field of promotion of rational drug use ●Ability to conduct training courses in optimum prescription and issuance of drugs   ●Ability to analyse the studies relating to drug use index ●Prepare evidence based treatment manuals ●Develop the effect of drugs and treatment at tertiary hospitals in order to promote safe drug use ●Conduct activities with a view to promoting optimum drug use by the community. 

Contracts:  Family Contracts,  renewed annually, if agreeable to both parties.

Benefits include provision of accommodation or allowance in lieu with hard furnishings including air conditioners. Economy class air-tickets at initial appointment and on final exit.  75 percent of the cost of these tickets are given once during the contractual year for annual leave travel and will also be provided to spouse and children up to age of 21 years.  Annual leave 48 days.  Medical treatment within the Sultanate according to prevailing regulations.
